EcoMapping™ and EMAS Easy™ Consultant Training

Increasingly, clients are asking environmental consultants for assistance in developing a simple EMS.  Consultants who are trained in the use of the EcoMapping™ and EMAS Easy™ tools will know how to implement a simple environmental action plan and build on this to develop an ISO14001-compatible EMS.

EcoMapping™ is now more widely recognised in a number of sectors, including wine, food, manufacturing and printing industries—small or large.  Taylors Wines recently achieved ISO14001 certification using this tool.

From time to time ECAP conducts training sessions in the use of the EcoMapping™ and EMAS Easy™ tools. The training is targeted to consultants who want to assist businesses to improve their environmental performance.  Knowledge of ISO14001 is recommended.  

The training package includes:

• A one-off licence fee of $400 for use of the tools for commercial purposes (includes intellectual property and future use)
• Training materials, and a CD of templates
• A certificate of attendance
• Lunch and refreshments
• Transportation to a field site.

Consultants who attend the course will be registered with the Belgium-based Eco-Conseil Enterprise, the home of EcoMapping™ worldwide.
