ECAP Membership
ECAP offers several membership options—individual, and business and other organisation.
Individual Membership
Two memberships are available:
• Associate Member
• Active Consultant.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership is for people who have an interest in EcoMapping® and EMAS Easy™ or who have conducted some EcoMapping® training, but for whatever reason are not active consultants. These individuals receive newsletters, publications and up-to-date advice within the ECAP network, and may help ECAP with matters such as governance, finance, marketing and auditing.
Active Consultants
Active Consultant Membership is for people who wish to actively use the EcoMapping® and EMAS Easy™ tools for commercial use. It is expected that these people will abide by the code of conduct, use the recognition system and attend a refresher course every three years.
There are mandatory requirements to become a registered consultant in the use of the EcoMapping® tools.
Specifically, requirements are:
• Attend a three-day training course in the use of the tools, presented by a recognised training provider
• Attend a one-day refresher, training course every three years
• Maintain ECAP membership.
Registered trainers to date are:
• Andy Chambers—Green Ochre Pty Ltd
• Richard Furler—Green Ochre Pty Ltd.
Businesses and other Organisations
An organisation that employs EMAS Easy™ consultants will be recognised as a provider of EMAS Easy™ tools, and can therefore be a member of ECAP.
These companies will be recognised via the recognition system of an effective Environment Action Plan.
ECAP Privileged Partners
ECAP seeks to create delivery partnerships with a select number of like-minded consultancies in the Australia–Asia Pacific region, and opportunities are now available for organisations to become Privileged Partners.
It is ECAP’s belief that a network built on values of quality, trust, honesty, commitment to community change, value for money and sector expertise will enable the uptake and implementation of the EMAS Easy™ philosophy.
